First NIT Challenge Update

In the opening round of the NIT, Manhattan beat FDU, Rutgers beat Penn State, UTEP beat Lipscomb, Delaware State beat Northern Arizona, Stanford beat Virginia, Charlotte beat Georgia Southern, and Butler beat Miami of Ohio. Oh yeah, Akron beat Temple -- but none of us picked Akron.

Accordingly, Jason is currently leading the PH4H NIT pick-em challenge with 7 points. Dan has 5, Dara and Jeff are tied with 4, and Justin has 2. (There is currently a technical problem with Andy's bracket.)

Stay tuned to this space for the next report, which will be sometime after the first round concludes on Saturday.

Yes, but I already lost my winner, Virginia. Any chance you could send the PDFs around so we can compare?

You're not the only one who picked Virginia.

The individual bracket files are quite large and unwieldy, and occasionally difficult to open. I was hoping to post thumbnails of everyone's brackets, but haven't had a chance to figure that out yet.

You can go to the website

http://www.bracketmaker.com/predict_list.cfm?parent=281202

and you can see the brackets. Jason Kristall is currently #6 among all the people who entered across the country, which is 79.

Actually, you can't look at the brackets themselves, but you can see the standings.

I'm number 32. Yay!

Actually, Jeff is number 22, and the only Andy -- who I assume is our Andy -- is Number 28.

We could use the website's leaderboard to keep track, but their point system is more complicated than mine.
