Team Sells Player for Meat- and Gets the Better Part of the Deal

A Romanian soccer team sold one of its players for 33 lbs of meat, and got the better part of the deal when the player promptly decided to retire. So now the other team has no player and no food. I wonder what type of meat it was?

What cut of meat could the Nationals get for Guzman?

That's one large pile of hamburger!

For Guzman . . . it would have to be horse meat.

The Cards are paying one mil for one year for Ponson, plus incentives. The Nats are paying 7 mil a year for Guzman. I think I know which is the better deal...
